You might be saving lives every day.

A smile, a hug, a wave, a friendly "hello."  These things that are so easy to give away sometimes can seem hard to come by when we are down and out.  I wanted to send out a reminder that these things save lives.  Let yourself open up to others and recognize them and acknowledge them.  If you have the time, talk to them.  Why not?  On the train for an hour?  What better things do you have to do?  You might just save a life.

Someone might be thankful to you, the total stranger, who made the life-changing difference.

YOU CAN BE THE CHANGE IN A THOUSAND LITTLE WAYS!

**If you or someone you know might be suffering from extreme depression or suicidal thoughts, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.  You're not weak for needing a third party to talk to, and neither are they.  If they are in serious danger, they'll be thankful to you later.  Don't wait.**
